Change of plan. Decided that the flat file database was too slow. Now using mysql for the map. I'll have to regen, but it wasn't finished, so that should not hurt anything.
I don't know if you've already mentioned it somewhere, but are the rest of the markers coming back soon?
I'd be happy to do that, but the other forum went offline too quick and we only got a handful copied down before it did. I simply don't know what markers need to be put down.
If anyone is missing a marker let me know and I'll add it back in. Just make a post in the claim your thread area. I'll make a post for it now.

Will there be any way to login to the webmap to have it display my username when I talk? On my home PC I still have it logged-in from before and it just remembers me, but I can't find a way to do it from another computer.
I think it just automatically knows who you are if you're logged in to this forum. I noticed that my name appeared on the map without me doing anything on my own.

I think because your name is already linked to an IP.
Yep, totally IP based. Last player to use that IP gets a name. If nobody has played on that IP, just the IP is shown.
