I've made a few more changes and lets see if it survives the day.  Failing that I'll copy the current map (nothing lost) and move it over to a clean install.

Dealing with raid rebuilds after several power loss issues.  This is over at this point and should not continue to be a problem.  If it is, let me know.

I had my UPS go out which caused some power issues.  Then in turn bad shutdowns which are really bad for a raid array.  During rebuild I had a drive fail as tends to happen.

It's just been a matter of one bad thing cascading into another.  But, this will pass.

All drives in place now test as good and don't worry.  The server can handle a loss of two drives at once and still not have any data loss.

Just wondering, who requested the Timpro marker? There's one on the small peninsula by spawn at 57, 274, but this was just his starter base and he moved up to 270, -1760.

I'm asking since Tim gave me permission to use his former starter base for my sort-of-extremely delayed spawn harbor project, so unless he reclaimed the area himself, I don't think that marker should be there.

(Would provide proof for this but the old forums are gone so... yeah...)

You know, I don't know.  If it was added in error it can be removed.

*ehem* If you mentioned pvp, it would be flooded. People like pvp. However, we would get the "wrong" kind of people on here. Still people though!

Good point.  I'm up for PvP if it's consensual.  Otherwise, not.

There have been worries about a possible rollback.  For the moment this is not a worry.

If you notice any sort of world corruption, let me know right away.

As for what's going on.  The UPS that runs the server has failed caused unexpected power loss and cleared a few players inventories.  This seems to be a very local issue that did not effect more than a few people.

If you are having issues, post here and we will get it resolved.
