Imgurcraft | The minecraft server for Imgurians!

Due to Mojang taking *forever* to release the update it's been brought to my attention that it might be fun to have the end of the world party here soon and then do a reset just to change things up a bit.  Play on the temp world till the update *finally* comes out.

Note that the old world will be saved and available for download.

So if I understand correctly, You want to save the old world, put us on a new one and then party?

Well, so far it's all yes!  If this trend continues then we will plan on some minor downtime Thursday and then a new temp world to explore till the update.

The new world will be amplified for maximum fun.

Will the map be reset this Thursday? I've been kind of building on and off on an end-of-the-world event that I've planned for a while and now that I'm finally done with exams and essays I had the time to actually go through and finish it, so this is like, a major bummer.

Final backup will be tomorrow night.  Then blow shit up, have a blast.  Monday I'll swap the worlds.

I just had finals, but I've also been on during European hours, so I assume you've just missed me on the map when I was on.

Like I said in discord, probably just until Monday. If people are interested in taking part in the event but can't make it, we might want to extend it a few days? I feel kind of in an awkward place because I started making this because everybody was just waiting for the map reset and now it ends up being the thing that's holding everybody off.
