General Discussion / nether rail extension/revamp.

first of all before anyone gets their panties in a twist this is a poll it's not just outright gonna happen that's why we are asking you guys. also the design isn't finalized we built something to show you is all as an example everything is subject to change by anyone who wants to give ideas.




no more messing with powered rails (you're always going fast)


this new line is 3 times faster (maybe more depending on factors)

this new design is MUCH cheaper to build because it uses stone and clay/concrete, and glass with an aesthetically pleasing look

boats are much cheaper (5 iron = cart  , 5 wood =boat) also almost everyone has wood on their person not always iron.

you can ride your horse comfortably, because of the design its acts like a solid surface for horses so no stopping or bumps!

it will require a bit of time to build and get this all together so its not gonna be instant obviously .

(also its blessed by dickbutt himself, praise be.)

yes but if we don't do it and we get more players it will be harder for people out on the frontier  in those directions and their tunnels to link up to the main line with have to be ridiculously long, wasting precious materials and time and not to mention life and limb, they will become so long that it wouldn't be worth it to connect to them.

the simple solution is to make the tracks 10 blocks higher or lower, which would avoid most builds

also my main idea wasn't to make new tracks or mess with the tunnels at all, just to make the center area bigger and friendlier, shame my work had to be rolled back

well since you did lose kinda a lot of stuff in those chests and what not i wouldn't mind paying abit of diamond at eric's concrete factory to pay for some of it.

also what about just an expansion for right now for the nether hub like you originally planned but have areas marked off for expansion later.

i wouldn't minds seeing a new hub i think as long as it doesn't mess with any ones personal stuff, i think it'll be fine.

oh and more in between tunnels would be nice (ne se nw sw)
