What are the rules for land claiming? I did see the previous claims topic, but more specifically I am curious about how it works. I see people claiming a specific coordinate, so how far out does that claim reach from the stated x/y? I also have half a mind to wander quite a distance, I don't see many venturing farther than a few thousand blocks out. is there a maximum distance alowed?

If there is a topic already that explains all of this, I appologize. I'm still learning my way around the site.

The rules are not that strict, except for the ‘don't be a dick’-rule of course.

You pick your claim where you don't get in the way of other claims or buildings already there. You may ask if you can claim near someone else. Some players like to keep their land sovereigned, others are fond of neighbours or building together.

Just think of what would be reasonable. What would you need? Do you have great plans? Do you start with a shack and see what you do from there? It's up to you.

Exactly right!  Just be nice to other people and it's all good.

Also, heads up, he's going to be working with SilverJinn.  So, mods, if you see him there doing stuff, that's cool.
